KNB Effects Working on Transformer Robotic Puppets!

Oscar winning KNB Effects, the best practical effects house in the industry are going to get their chance to work on some pretty cool robots. This past week the IESB was able to confirm and learn that the upcoming live action Transformers movie will also include some practical effects.

So it appears that our beloved robots will not be 100 percent CGI. "KNB is building robot puppets for Michael Bay " the IESB was told by an unnamed source.

When we ran into Greg Nicotero from KNB and we asked if he could confirm his involvement on the Transformers but he said that he could not comment because he had just signed 15 NDA's. When asked again if he was working on robots he said "yeah sure but that is all I can say."

KNB most recently worked with Michael Bay on The Island.
