This from Fangoria regarding the Van Helsing animated prequel, And in still more VAN HELSING news, Davis DVD reports that Universal Home Video will release the half-hour animated prequel VAN HELSING: THE LONDON ASSIGNMENT on disc May 11, four days after the feature hits theaters (which must be a record for this kind of tie-in). Directed by Sharon Bridgeman, the movie features big-screen star Hugh Jackman doing the voice of his cartoon alter ego, who bears more than a passing resemblance to the star of the Japanese anime VAMPIRE HUNTER D: BLOODLUST
