So by now you have probably already purchased the final installment of the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on DVD and getting ready to watch it and marvel at the beauty of these films. If you were one of the hardcore fans that spent over twelve hours in line yesterday for an autograph you are probably feeling an alcohol free hangover by now.
Last night Best Buy West Hollywood in conjunction with New Line Cinema put together a DVD release that was fitting to this great trilogy by having Dominic Monaghan (Merry) there to greet and take pictures with fans.
Dom worked overtime and stayed until approximately 1:15 am, that was when New Line reps decided to call it a night. There were still a few fans outside who had not had the chance for autographs when Dom left but Best Buy did their best by giving the remaining fans mini Lord of the Rings bobble heads.
Fans from all over the world came to this signing. There was a group of friends and family from Arizona, a fan who flew in from Germany and another from Florida. It was definitely the place to be for all LOTR fans. Stay tuned for coverage as we will be adding video from the event. Make sure to check out theonering.net website for more coverage.
Stay tuned to Best Buy since they are talking about doing something similar with the release of the Star Wars trilogy in September.
