IESB's Robert Sanchez attended a DVD presentation on the Fox lot for WOLVERINE on Thursday where he spoke exclusively with one of it's producers Lauren Shuler Donner.

Donner has quite a full plate in the coming years that includes Deadpool, X-Men First Class, Wolverine 2 and many more!

Sanchez had several key questions he wanted to ask Donner about those films including Ryan Reynolds dual Green Lantern/Deadpool casting. Also, if there was any possibility to an animated X-Men film made by Pixar now that Marvel and Walt Disney have merged and if Bryan Singer is out of the X-Men mix completely not that he's got Excalibur and Battlestar Galactica in his future.

See what she had to say below,

IESB: With Ryan Reynolds now as Green Lantern, will that effect Deadpool at all?

LSD: I hope not. Not on my end, personally, not on my end, no. I think you can do different characters. We've had different Bonds right, and I think if Harrison Ford can be in Indiana Jones and he can be in the Tom Clancy movies, I think if you are a good actor you become the character and it's alright.

IESB: The X-Men First Class, is it a mild reboot? Are we going to see different actors in the same characters?

LSD: I'll be able to tell you that in time.

IESB: With the Marvel deal, Marvel/Disney deal, there's been some talk that Marvel wants to do Pixar stuff, is there anything that limits them from doing an X-Men animated Pixar film?

LSD: I don't know, but I don't believe so. I believe everything X-Men related belongs to Fox.

IESB: Even animated if it's theatrical right?

LSD: I would imagine yes, it's Fox. I would imagine they can't go do a X-Men film.

IESB: Was it as big of a shock to you as it was to everyone else?

LSD: Yes it was, it was a big shock, you know, and they are very good at keeping quiet.

IESB: The next Wolverine, any chance Gavin [Hood] is coming back?

LSD: Don't know, we are working on the script now.

IESB: The last time we talked you mentioned you would love to bring Bryan [Singer] back.

LSD: I would.

IESB: Any chance?

LSD: There's a possibility.

IESB: He's not too busy with Excalibur and Battlestar Galactica?

LSD: No.

IESB: How soon before you go into production on any of the new X-Men films? Whether it be Wolverine or X-Men First Class or Deadpool?

LSD: Next year.

IESB: For which one?

LSD: (laughter) I can't say, I'm sorry. But, some of these we just aren't ready to talk about yet.

IESB: Dick [Donner], does he still not want to touch any superhero film?

LSD: He kind of feels like he did, he was very helpful, as you know he came and helped me on this movie but, look, I would never rule anything out but I don't know. He might, he might go back into the comic world, he might.

IESB: Anything that you have in the X-Men world?

LSD: I wish, (laughter) I wish.

X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE comes out on Blu-ray and DVD on September 15th.
