Video Interview: Screen Writer Mark Frost on the Sequel to Fantastic Four
Author: Stephanie Sanchez
At The Greatest Game Ever Played Premiere at El Captian on Sunday, we talked to Fantastic Four screen writer Mark Frost.

Frost has been with the sports story for 6 years now and has now seen it come to fruition on the big screen. He originally wrote the book back in 1999 and then penned the screenplay for the "greatest untold sports story" with director Bill Paxton in tow.

He says he is currently in negotiations to pen Fantastic Four 2 and would love to come back again. He knows in which direction he wants the characters to head and plans to have all the Fantastic Four come back.

Will Puppestmaster make an appearance? Apparently the studio will have his head on a plate if he told us that.

Frost has collected the Fantastic Four comics since he was a child and saw it as a practical thing for him to write the movie. He felt the fact that the movie captured the spirit of the original comics was ignored. They weren't trying to do a dark psychological study, the comics were always light and fun and a comical take on the superhero genre. That is what they set out to do and that is what the movie accomplished. If you didn't like the comic than you didn't like the movie but if you expected something different than the comic than you might have been disappointed.

On future projects, there a couple other Marvel characters he would like to explore and is currently in negotiations for those as well but he cannot say anything as of yet. He confirmed that Silver Surfer is in development but he is not involved.
