Web Folk and Hollywood Industry peeps converged to bring you the best party during San Diego Comic Con 2007! {sidebar id=1}About year ago we were wrapping up Comic Con 2006 and we promised ourselves that we would try and put together a party that would rock Comic Con 2007. Ladies and Gentlegeeks, we did it. IESB.net and LatinoReview.com hosted the Masters of the Web 1st Comic Con Web Bash on Saturday night and it was awesome. Guests included Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Weston, Mark Neveldine, Lauren Lee Smith, Brian Taylor, Frank Reyes, Marc Schoelermann, Ray Park, Michael Davis, Daniel Alter, Tom DeSanto, Zack Ward, Robert Meyer Burnett, Neil Marshall, Ken Foree, Brandon Molale, Chris Tongue, Chris Patton, Ryan Wieber, Michael Scott, our favorite studio publicists from Hollywood, the boys and girls from IESB.net, Joblo.com, Darkhorizons.com, TheMovieBlog.com, Chud.com, Latinoreview.com, Ropeofsilicon.com, Bloody-Disgusting.com, Comingsoon.net/Superherohype.com, Shocktilyoudrop.com, Movieweb.com, Collider.com, Blackfilm.com, Firstshowing.net, IGN.com, Rottentomatoes.com, Rue Morgue Magazine, People Magazine, ReelzChannel.com, About.com and many, many more. The planning for our party started close to 8 months ago when Stephanie and I drove down to San Diego and started looking for locations and we ended up booking the Presidential Suite and Roof Top Terrace at the Ramada Saint James. We wont bore you with the details of the planning but I can honestly tell you that Stephanie and I had many sleepless nights wondering if anybody would even come to our party considering that the Sci-Fi Channel was hosting one on the exact same night. Guest what folks? Web Geeks and tons of VIPs united on Saturday night and partied the night away. We were way over capacity but no one missed a beat. IESB.net and Latinoreview.com certainly dont have the budgets that huge media companies have, but, we were able to offer two open bars, great catered Mexican food, great music, hot Go-Go dancers and bikini wearing servers for all of our guests. I want to thank Milo Ventimiglia and the rest of the gang from Lakeshore Entertainment for debuting footage from their new film Pathology and for their support with the party and also Dark Horse Entertainment for debuting the teaser trailer for The Descendants starring Ray Park. Special thanks to Dark Horse Indie, McFarlane Toys and Antartic Press for helping out with the gift bags. Our hats go off to the lovely Alex Lachman for all of her hard work and the rest of Web Bash Crew for getting the party ready and also to the incredibly hot dancers and servers. The party was such a success that we are getting ready to plan for the next years party that will be bigger and better than the first, The Masters of the Web 2nd Annual Comic Con Web Bash: The Wrath of CON!
