Well, its 2008, weve all toasted our Slurm and its back to business as usual. Weve got images and video from the set of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. {sidebar id=1}Vanity Fairs Jim Windolf and Annie Leibovitz visited Steven Spielberg and his merry band of age defying tomb raiders to talk about the newest installment in the uber-successful franchise and get a few shots of the actors in character! After a long absence, Jones is back! Star Harrison Ford told Windolf that he jumped right back into the infamous archeologist, Theres something about the character that I guess is a good fit for me, because the minute I put the costume on, I recognize the tone that we need, and I feel confident and clear about the character. So far as the filmmakers, Spielberg seems to be at the top of his game. He commented about the status of the fourth film, Im in my second cut, which means Ive put the movie together and Ive seen it, he says. I usually do about five cuts as a director. The best news is that, when I saw the movie myself the first time, there was nothing I wanted to go back and shoot, nothing I wanted to reshoot, and nothing I wanted to add. Thats good news! Indiana Jones has never failed his fans and although the never-ending title was a bit of a turn off at first, it looks like its full steam ahead to a blockbuster box office this May. Video of the photo shoot is posted below. Check out Cate Blanchett and her villainous Russian wardrobe. She looks very, uh, Russian and villainous
