Sam Rockwell, the king of indie, was in Sundance promoting several films. (I am still waiting for Galaxy Quest 2!!)

{sidebar id=1}The Salt Lake Tribune caught up with him and the cast of The Winning Season, a film by director James Strouse, who brought Grace Is Gone to Sundance in 2007.

Sam Rockwell stars as an alcoholic ex-basketball star who is currently occupied busing tables. When he is handed the reins of a girl's varsity team by the school's principal, what ensues is tempestuous and trying for all concerned.

But that's besides the point, Salt Lake Tribune reporter Darren asked Rockwell about IRON MAN 2.

Reporter, "I have to ask about Iron Man. You're going to be kicking his ass in the next one aren't you?"

Rockwell, "I don't know if, we will see, we'll see, hopefully it will work out. Fingers crossed."

Well, he's not officially signed on to the sequel yet either. Are they low-balling his salary like they are Mickey Rourke? We'll have to wait and see as he says!
