IESB meets up with Todd McFarlane at the Tempe, Arizona World Premiere of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.

{sidebar id=1}Phoenix local and fanboy favorite Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn and entrepreneur, gave the IESB updates on a new Spawn film, David Fincher's film TORSO on which he is a producer, a new animated Spawn series and more.

Todd McFarlane tells us he has five offers on the table to do a new Spawn film. From big special effects studio budgets to a smaller indie budgets that he hopes to be able to  write and direct himself. Which will he choose?

And what about Torso? It had to be one of the biggest shocks to movie fans when Paramount decided not to move forward with the David Fincher helmed film considering the critical success he's received after directing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

McFarlane says his co-producer Don "I'm always angry at someone" Murphy believes it will be set up at another major studio very shortly. Todd also confirmed previous reports that they had Matt Damon locked in as Eliot Ness and Rachel McAdams as the female lead.
