Robert Meyer Burnett and Daren "Tiberius" Dochterman

Last week during the Femme Fatales: Weekend of Wonder we had the privilege of speaking with Rob Burnett, the director for Free Enterprise and Free Enterprise 2. He talks about the plot of the movie, the cast and what we can expect to see in the long awaited sequel.

Burnett confirmed what Mark Altman told us during the Sci-Fi Summit in Pasadena last month. The sequel, which will be a much larger production than its predecessor, has the working title of Free Enterprise 2: The Passion of the Shatner. Filming could begin sometime next year most likely around April. That would make a release date of 2006 which would coincide with the 40 year anniversary of Star Trek.

Rob Burnett and Mark Altman both promise a better made film and also a lot of excitement during this "global trek."
