Just got back from the Spiderman 2 World Premiere that took place in Westwood, Ca. WOW! are the only words that come to mind from that event. It was huge and all the stars came out to play. As we have promised in the past we will cover as many red carpet events possible so that we can make sure to bring you the latest entertainment news that you care about.
While at the premiere we had the chance to talk to Avi Arad who was kind enough to give us a few updates on some upcoming Marvel projects. He talked about the rumors revolving X-Men 3 and also on Iron Man but the one that stuck to mind was on Fantastic Four. He says that there will be casting announcements sometime next week. We asked him about Michael Chiklis playing the role of the Thing but he couldn't comment. For the complete Avi Arad video interview click here.
We also had the chance to talk to the writers of Spiderman 2 and Smallville, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. They were kind enough to gives us some updates on what we can expect on Smallville season 4 and also on the Iron Man script. We will definitely see Lois Lane in the next season and we can also expect to see Lana and her new boyfriend. They both promise plenty of excitement in Clark's senior year. The person that I most wanted to talk to was Sam Raimi. Even though we only had a few words with him we were able to ask him about making another Evil Dead movie. He did say that even though he has no immediate plans to make one he would love to do so. I also asked about the possibility of a Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash and he said that he would be interested in reading the script if one existed. For the complete Sam Raimi video interview click here.
