Is there a WarGames sequel in the works? One of our readers bumped into Matthew Broderick who shed some light on his upcoming projects.
"I bumped into the eternally youthful Matthew Broderick at Broadways Dim sum Kingdom Cafe, who was solo, wearing the trademark sunglasses, carrying a newspaper. He was paying for his meal in front of me.
I asked what he was doing now he said he's just done a film called The Last Shot which is about a fake movie maker and that Alex Baldwin is in it with him and then he's going to be making a sequel to one of his older films, War Games, which he's excited about.
Was a nice guy!! would've loved to have asked him about the Ferris Bueller 2 chances of happening but of course you always think of these things later when its too late."
The question is if this project will follow the big screen version of the Broadway hit "The Producers" that is scheduled next for Broderick. For now take this just as rumor.
