Jason was cool enough to give us a quick update on Passion of the Clerks, which according to him, filming has been pushed back until September.

Kevin Smith mentioned on his blog that he would be watching Revenge of the Sith for his anniversary on Monday night. I figured that it would be good time to ask Mewes if he knew Kevin's reaction to the film. "As good as Empire but darker," is what Jason says Kevin told him last night after watching Revenge of the Sith.

As good as Empire? That is a very big comparison to make considering that Empire Strikes Back is one of the greatest films of all time and in my opinion the best sequel of all time.

So what about the story that we first broke here regarding Kevin's involvement on the Star Wars TV series? We have been doing some more investigation and this is what we got. Kevin's possible involvement will be writing and directing at least a three episode story arch.

And to add more fuel to the fire, Mewes pretty much confirmed that there indeed has been talk with Kevin Smith to be involved in the series, even though he doesn't know the current status of any deals or contracts.
