World famous Dodger Stadium is the place to be for the next few days if you are a Superman fan. Three different baseball games are being filmed for a very critical scene in the upcoming feature. This is second unit filming not principal photography.

A source tells us that filming will continue through Saturday but the stars of the film will not be on hand. This is a technical shoot that involves plenty of special effects in the finished cut, hmm I wonder.

So if you are a Superman fan make sure to go to Dodger Stadium and take a glimpse at some second unit Superman filming being done!

Superman Returns Dodger Stadium Shoot: Click Here This is a quick note from our reader/scooper:The name of the teams are the Miami Ravens and Fin (Finland) which are part of the World League.These were not just actors but instead real minor league and college baseball players. The batter, catcher and umpire were all reacting and looking towards centerfield as if something was coming down. A stadium employee informed us that today was the last day of filming and that a plane is supposed to crash on the field but that Superman stops that from happening.
