So will we see Indy IV anytime soon? According to an interview that Steven Spielberg had on Canal+ he will start shooting the next installment of Indiana Jones in early 2005 right after he finishes War of the Worlds. Right After Indy he expects to direct a political movie that he didn't want to talk about.

The political movie is expected to be Vengeance which will chronicle the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, where Israeli athletes were kidnapped by a group of Palestinian militants. Ultimately, 11 Israelis lost their lives in that terrorist attack.

So does that mean a final script on Indiana Jones has been agreed on? Nothing recent coming from the Lucas camp and no word on how much of Frank Darabont's script will make it to the big screen. The last thing that was mentioned was that George had hired someone to re-write the Darabont script. I hear that Jar-Jar will be comedic sidekick this time around...its a joke people!

Indiana Jones IV is expected in Theaters in the summer of 2006!

Thanks to Eddie
