The first Hellboy film grossed aproximetly $100 million dollars in worldwide box office receipts. Making it a success was largely due in part of the DVD sales and it's licensees. A sequel has been talked about and part of the storyline has been revealed by both Mike Mignola and Guillermo Del Toro.
