Once Enterprise was cancelled Brannon Braga was quick to find another television show to run, Threshold. Brent Spiner who has worked with Braga for many years on Trek was able to secure himself a leading part in this new CBS sci-fi drama.
We had the chance to ask both Braga and Spiner if the Trek has truly ended for both of them. Spiner was clear to say that he does not believe that he will ever don the famous Data make up ever again and that for now we can see his newest work on Threshold on Friday nights starting this fall.
Braga was also very clear on stating there is absolutely no movement on Star Trek at this time and that he does not plan on resuming any work on that much loved franchise anytime in the immediate future.
Thank god sci fi fans have Battlestar Galactica on a weekly basis because with the exception of Enterprise going on syndication, it truly does appear that for now Star Trek is truly dead. Click on link below for video interviews, windows media player required!
