Connery made his name playing the superspy in films like From Russia With Love, Thunderball and Goldfinger in the 60's, but according to insiders he is set to return to the franchise briefly in the new film Casino Royale.

Connery's character will apparently be a coward who hides under a table while new James Bond is involved in a fight.

The insider said: "I'm afraid he plays a bit of a coward."

We shall see if this inside information becomes a reality. News that comes out on or around April 1st is always worth a second look. I personally don't think Connery would stoop to this but hey take it wil a grain of salt!
