Boba Fett is the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy, but can he survive on TV? It seems like Lucasfilm may indeed try to cater to the fan base by giving Fett fans his own TV series.

There has been talk from the ranch to have a TV series start sometime after the final prequel is released and now AICN has posted the following: "Yep, there is a Star Wars TV show on the way. Yep, it takes place between Episode 3 and 4. Yep, the character and story arcs are starting to come together. Hehe... fanboys are gonna love this! Playing one of the series' villans we love to hate is none other than... wait for it... Boba Fett! Expect young Boba (but not nearly as young as in Ep. 2) to feature in the series significantly. And you wondered why Lucas spent so much time focusing on that kid in Attack of the Clones and made sure that you knew that he knew that the Jedi/Republic was responsible for his Dad's death. Now you know."

We can't confirm that Boba will be the star of a new TV series but we can confirm that there will be a Star Wars TV show starting between 2005 and 2006. There still is talk about a storyline taking place 1000 generations before the Skywalkers. Golden Age of the Sith? Maybe, Tales of the Jedi? Maybe, the only thing that is for certain is that a Star Wars TV series is in the works.
