Is Clark Kent of Smallville finally becoming the Clark Kent we all know and love? This picture from the upcoming episode of Smallville "Whisper" that airs January 21st gives us a glimpse of the future. Note the caption...hilarious!

The image we've all been waiting for - Clark with glasses!!!! Note he looks like a totally different person! - Kryptonsite.com

The official WB description of the "Whisper" is here:

Attempting to stop a robbery, Clark (Tom Welling) is temporarily blinded when he shoots off a burst of heat vision that is reflected back into his eyes by a piece of kryptonite. He soon realizes that his body has developed super-hearing to compensate for his lack of sight. However, as it was in the beginning with his other gifts, Clark doesn't quite have his new power under control.
Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, Sam Jones III, John Glover, Annette O'Toole and John Schneider also star. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Ken Horton.

Here are the spoilers listed for this episode from Kryptonsite as well - Do not read if you don't want to know!

* "Whisper," eh? How much do you want to bet this is the "Clark gets super hearing" episode?
* The episode's FOTW, Nathan Dean, has the power to emit a loud shriek/scream, much like Siryn or Banshee of the X-Men.
* Clark's vision is impaired at some point in this episode. A Dr. MacIntyre (Trapper John, anyone?) comments that it looks like "a mass of scar tissue's occluding his retinas," and that Clark won't let them x-ray or do other tests.
* We finally meet Pete's mom -- Judge Abigail Ross, a "40ish, African American woman who wears her authority comfortably."
* Pete's car is towed, and Clark and Jonathan go to find out who took it. They find someone who looks like a "female version of Masterson," by the name of Flora. When she's asked about Walt Masterson, she becomes quite angry and tells them to "get the hell out of here." Oh yeah, and Flora is apparently Nathan's mother.
* Someone connected to Masterson has threatened to kill Pete unless Judge Ross grants permission to dismiss all charges against him.
* Clark uses his super-hearing to hear Judge Ross in the next room, or at least it appears that's what's happening.
* Judge Ross and Clark look at pictures of him and Pete in second grade at the Halloween Festival.
* Judge Ross says to Clark that "it seemed like you were always sharing 'deep dark' secrets no one else could ever know."
* Don't be surprised if Clark figures out what the bad guy's up to by super-listening in on his cell phone call.
* A jeweler has a necklace made completely of Kryptonite rocks.
* Pete's girl, Erica Fox from "Tempest" returns and is impressed with his tales of heroism.
* Glasses for Clark in this episode? Rumored here at KryptonSite LONG ago, confirmed here!
