Top Sci-Fi Series, Stargate SG·1 , to be Celebrated at the First Officially Licensed Fan Convention in the U.S. July 10 & 11, 2004 in Burbank, California.

Fans of Stargate SG·1, the hit television series airing on the Sci Fi Channel and in syndication, will have the chance to meet when Creation Entertainment presents the first Official Stargate SG·1 Convention in the United States. The event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11 at the Burbank Airport Hilton, 2500 Hollywood Way, Burbank, with show hours Noon – 6:00 PM daily.

Throughout the weekend, Stargate SG·1 cast members scheduled to appear include: on Saturday, Don Davis (Hammond),
Carmen Argenziano (Jacob Carter/Selmak), Tony Amendola (Bra’Tac), and Peter Williams (Apophis); on Sunday,
Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter), and Christopher Judge (Teal’c).

The Stargate SG·1 convention will also feature on-stage presentations, special events, contests, charity functions and parties, autographs, and a variety of licensed merchandise. Special appearances by Stargate SG·1 and Stargate Atlantis director David Winning, and Special FX designer Todd Masters, are also scheduled during the weekend.

General admission tickets are available in advance for $25 on Saturday and $30 on Sunday through Ticketmaster. At the door, general admission tickets are $30 on Saturday and $35 on Sunday, general admission tickets for children 7 - 12 are $15. Children six and under are admitted free.
