Apparently he ran into Michael Keaton at Disneyland and found out a few interesting tidbits about the Robert Rodriguez part of Grindhouse entitled Project Terror and the future of Beetlejuice:
"Don't know whether you only accept video stuff....but here's something that might take your fancy, if it is NEWS of course and not just old stuff thats NEWS to me.... (which wouldn't at all surprise me, considering I don't get on your site or Aint it cool news etc as much I'd like to these days).
We were at Disneyland here in Cali this past weekend and then ended up having dinner at the Napa Rose Restaurant . Guess who I spotted? Michael Keaton! He was with - who I assume - was his family on a back table. He looked friendly enough - laughing and stuff - so I decided to ask for an autograph.
I think I read here once [no not here] that he was rumored to be playing The Joker in the next Batman movie so I asked him about it. He said that's a 'wonderful idea' but there's 'no way'. The 'new Batman films are separated from the old Batman films', he said. So I asked no chance of you playing Batman again? He said 'No, but there's a big chance you'll see me in another Beetlejuice again'. I asked when....he said 'When Tim Burton finishes the script and when everyone is available at the same time'.
My wife Pam asked Michael - while he was signing my napkin - what he will be in next, he said he will be a movie with Brendan Fraser called The Last Time and then he has a role in Robert Rodriguez (spelling?) new film called Project Terror. Anyway, hope that clears up those Batman rumors etc!!
