Fox Filmed Entertainment Chairman Tom Rothman was present at last nights premiere of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and was kind enough to give us a quick update on X-Men 3.
He mentioned that the script is continuously being tweaked based on feedback from those involved including Hugh Jackman.
Will the Dark Phoenix be a major part of the story? Tom says yes. The question was prompted by rumors that Matthew Vaughn believed the story was too complicated to tell in a two hour movie. Tom is also convinced that Ratner will have this movie finished on time.
Regarding upcoming comic book adaptations, Tom said Silver Surfer will be the next big project that Fox will tackle and that, of course, Galacticus will be part of the story.
