Batman Begins opened big last year and has been one of the best, if not the best, superhero origin story. So who will join Christian Bale in the next installment? Rumors have been flying around the internet like flies on bat droppings.

We talked to Josh Lucas while he promoting his latest, Poseidon, and asked about his rumored interest in the Batman sequel. He said the following,

"Absolutely, I want the role."

I said, "we are talking about the Harvey Dent role correct?"

"Yes."

So there you have it. Straight from the proverbial horse's mouth, Josh Lucas is after Harvey Dent.

Billy Dee Williams and Tommy Lee Jones, as Harvey post-accident Two Face, have tackled this character in the past, not very well mind you. But Josh Lucas would just be a great choice. He is smooth and charming and can pull off a DA fairly easily. We shall see!

Looks like the character of Harvey will still be one of Bruce Wayne's closest friends and has yet to turn to the dark side. As Gotham's new District Attorney, Dent will most likely be helping Batman put away his arch nemesis The Joker.
