Elfman reveals that the only reason he went back to see the original Willy Wonka film was so he could avoid doing anything that would resemble the original movie. We wanted this new film to have a completely different sound.
So what is next for Danny Elfman? To our surprise he stated that he will not be doing the soundtrack for Spiderman 3 and that instead he will be working on the other spider film, Charlotte's Web.
When asked if he knew who will be working on Spiderman he said that he just didn't care. Bad blood between Elfman and Raimi? Who knows but it now looks like Sony will be shopping around for a new music composer for the next adventure of Peter Parker.
