Funny man Steve Carell has been busy as of late making plenty of appearances in some of Hollywoods funniest films. Recently the Batman on film website posted a rumor regarding his possible involvement on the sequel to Batman Begins, any truth about him being up for the role of the Joker?

Steve and the rest of the cast of 40 Year Old Virgin got up bright and early this morning to talk about their upcoming release. We took the time to find out if there is any truth to the rumors that Steve might just be the next Joker.

We asked Steve if he had heard the rumors and if there was any truth to the speculation.

He said that he also had read those stories and that he would love do it if offered but that he doubts that there is any truth to the rumors. When asked if Charles Roven had mentioned anything about the part he said that he had not.
